Our institute is proud to offer the Ultra Femme 360™ a revolutionary non-surgical vulvar and vaginal rejuvenation treatment. This cutting edge device uses radio-frequency energy to heat the skin’s tissue at a controlled temperature. For our patient’s comfort and privacy, only our trained female nurse will perform the Ultra Femme 360. The Ultra Femme 360 has versatile applicators so it can be used internally (i.e. vaginal canal) and externally (i.e. labia, introitus, mons pubis, perineum and clitoris).
Remarkably, the Ultra Femme 360 is the shortest non-surgical vulvovaginal treatment on the market. During your initial consultation, our trained female Registered Nurse will examine you and discuss which areas you desire to have treated. Your medical history will be reviewed and alternative treatments will be discussed. It is important to tell your provider if you have any of the following; electronic implants, metal implants, bleeding disorders, IUDs, are pregnant, or menstruating. The duration of your Ultra Femme 360™ treatment will vary depending on what areas are being targeted. At your consultation, we will provide you with an estimate of the length of your Ultra Femme 360™ appointment so you can plan your schedule accordingly. The day of your appointment we ask that you cleanse the skin thoroughly, shave areas with excess hair, and avoid applying lotion to the area of treatment. We will also ask that you remove any metal jewelry, watches, or clothes as it can interfere with the results. The Ultra Femme 360™ requires no downtime, so after completion of your in-office appointment, you are free to return to work and resume regular activities.
HOW DOES THE TREATMENT WORK?
The Ultra Femme 360™ is a quick procedure that takes at little as 15 minutes. This is the shortest non-surgical vulvovaginal rejuvenation treatment on the market. This treatment heats tissues at a lower temperature than other ablative laser treatments and our patients have reported little to no discomfort.
During the procedure, our female nurse will start with the internal treatment. She will insert a sterile disposable device inside the vaginal canal until the tip reaches the cervix. Once the device is fully inserted, the hand piece is rotated out toward the introitus (opening of the vagina). The hand piece heats the tissue using 360 degrees providing stimulation of collagen and increase blood flow to the area. Once the internal treatment is done, our provider will change disposable hand pieces and treat externally if desired. For the external treatment, our female nurse will glide the device over the outer vaginal tissues to tighten and raise the labial tissue. In as little as 15 minutes, the procedure is completed and you can return to regular activities immediately.
IS THE TREATMENT PAINFUL?
No, the treatment should not be painful. The Ultra Femme 360™ provides the most advanced non-surgical solution, treating all areas of concern safely, efficiently, and without pain. Most patients describe a warm sensation comparable to that of a pain-free hot stone massage. The treatment is performed in a lying position so you can easily relax during the procedure.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS DO I NEED?
The number of treatments required will depend on the patient’s concerns, the condition of the skin, and desired results. To get optimum results each patient will need to start with 4-6 treatments scheduled 4 weeks apart. The treatment takes approximately 15 minute – 45 minutes. With no downtime this can easily be done on a lunch break or in between running errands.
IS THERE DOWNTIME?
The Ultra Femme 360™ treatment is completely non-surgical. Patients can return to their daily activities immediately after. Because this procedure is non-invasive and requires no form of anesthetic, there is no required rest. After the treatment, some patients may experience mild redness and swelling which will go away on its own within a few hours.
WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT?
Patients in clinical studies have reported excellent outcomes. Clinical studies have shown that these treatments can result in enhanced sensitivity, tightened vaginal wall and vulvar structures, and improvement in stress-induced urinary incontinence. Patients have also reported increased natural lubrication and enhanced orgasms. Some patients can see and feel results after only one treatment. Collagen remodeling takes approximately 90 days so results will typically improve over a 3-month period. Each patients outcome depends on the treated area, its condition, and other factors.
HOW LONG WILL IT LAST?
The Ultra Femme 360™ treatment activates your own collagen production and creates stronger tissue structure so the results are long-lasting. However, like anything non-surgical the treatment does not prevent the natural aging process or degeneration of tissue after pregnancy and childbirth. We recommend patients get a touch-up treatment every year in order to maintain their results.
