Each superficial chemical peel is designed based on each individual’s needs, skin type and concerns to remove the stratum corneum, the protective layer of skin that can consist of dead cells, for a radiant, healthy glow. The benefits of superficial chemical peels are based on each specific acid and include minimizing acne/oiliness, fine lines, wrinkles, age spots and anti-aging. These light peels have zero to a maximum of 24 hours of down time and can be applied once or twice per month.

TEEN FACIAL
This treatment is designed to treat the everyday needs of teenagers’ skin concerns. During early teenage years, hormones in the body can be the cause of over-productive sebaceous glands. This can potentially increase oil production, which can lead to excess breakouts and frustrating times finding the correct balance within the skin. This hour-long facial includes all of the specific medical grade products needed to remove dead skin cells, slow down oil production, unclog congested pores, extract white heads, black heads and help prevent future acne scarring. Treatment includes a skin analysis, double cleansing, steaming with the use of glycolic and salicylic exfoliation followed by extractions. A soothing massage, custom masque and a blend of calming skin care products are applied afterwards to help tone and balance the skin’s pH. Custom serums, moisturizing SPF and eye creams are then applied to complete the experience.
Downtime is based on the amount of blemishes and extractions performed during the facial treatment. A hydrating and calming masque and soothing botanical serum are used in addition to help calm redness and irritation that may occur. Please allow 24-48 hours for more sensitive or severe acne skin types to rejuvenate new cells for optimal results after this service.
