What is the Melanage® Skin Brightening System?
The Melanage Skin Brightening System is a new generation chemical peel that improves moderate to severe melasma and pigmentation concerns to reveal a brighter and enhanced skin complexion. Suited for all skin types, the peel combines a blend of Retinoids and Arbutin to help even out skin tone and remove layers of dead skin cells to help with an accurate and effective penetration of the melanin inhibitor ingredients. The treatment consists of an initial mask, which is applied in the office. Patients leave the office with the mask on their face, and are given instructions for an easy-to-follow at-home regimen, which includes several Melanage products to be applied once the mask is removed.
What Can I Expect?
Results will vary, but typical downtime is five to seven days where you may experience significant redness, peeling, dryness, and swelling. The post-peel kit includes products to help cleanse, soothe, hydrate, protect and heal the skin. At no additional cost, the kit also contains a compounded Retinol and skin brighter to use nightly to enhance the results of the peel. Leave dull, discolored and uneven skin behind to reveal a new, brighter you. Call for a consultation to determine if the Melanage peel is right for you.
