On the day of your revision facelift surgery, individuals should prepare by having a trusted contact available to take them home to recover in Washington, D.C., or Northern Virginia, after the surgery is complete, as you will be under general anesthesia or heavy IV sedation.

The procedure is performed at our office in Fairfax. It will begin with incisions along marked lines, often the same ones used in your previous facelift. This helps ensure you have fewer scars. Your facial tissues and muscles will be carefully tightened and repositioned to improve contour and alignment and address issues arising from the previous facelift. Then, your skin will be re-draped over your face, excess skin cut off, and stitches inserted to close the incisions.
